    Boot from vdhx returns system service exception


    Hello.


    I am using Dell xps 15 9570 model.


    When I boot from vhdx file (my old machine with windows 10 enterprise edition) I am getting system service exception. It starts in safe mode and looking trough logs I found tons of errors but mostly "The dependency service or group failed to start" or DCOM got error 1084 attempting to start service..... unavailable.


    If I start it from hyper-v it works fine.


    It was running ok till I installed the latest windows and dell updates on both machines.


    Any suggestions.


    In addition. I would like to put my vhdx on external SSD and run it from there, since Hyper-V does not share all my hardware (graphic card exactly). Any suggestions on how to solve this problem? Thank you

    Conflicts with the hardware driver is one of hte possible reasons why you are having a blue screen error with stop code, system service exception. For us to assist you better, kindly answer the following questions:

    • Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
    • Which Version and OS Build number of Windows 10 is currently installed? To check, press the
      Windows key, type winver, and press the
      Enter       key.

    SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION on Windows 10

    i have done all the same steps which are given in the instruction just there is a difference of version.

    Still it gives blue Screen "System Service Exception".

    Well I have disabled all the services now, it will boot only in safe mode into administrator account...then boot normally its back to bsod
