  1. boot issue...maybe BCD issue

So I was cloning a drive with mini tool shadow maker...I installed the new drive and I saw it in windows and I apparently chose wrong when I chose MBR and not GPT...so I cloned the HDD to the ssd. Shutdown and remove old drive and booted new drive..,bios has been Legacy the whole time. Well no neither drive boots. I get errors like 0xc00000e and f. I’ve tried switching to UEFI. I’ve tried rebuild BCD(hirens and on Windows recovery media) I get “the requested system device cannot be found”

  3. Keyboard Issue Maybe?

    Hi,

Thank you for your interest in using Windows 10.

    1. Did you check by connecting the an external Keyboard?

Use the On-Screen Keyboard (OSK) to type.
Use the On-Screen Keyboard (OSK) to type

Let’s troubleshoot the issue by referring to these methods and check the issue status:

Method 1: Preform clean boot and check if the issue persist.

To help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This kind of startup is known as a "clean boot." A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Putting your system in Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to follow the steps from the article mentioned below to perform a Clean Boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

Note: Refer "How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting" to reset the computer to start as normal after troubleshooting

Method 2: If issue persist I suggest you to run Hardware and device troubleshooter

    • Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap
      Search
      .

    • Enter Troubleshooting in the search box, tap or click
Troubleshooting, and then tap or click Hardware and keyboard.

    • Tap or click Hardware and Devices, and follow the instructions on the screen.

Method 3: Let’s try updating the driver for the keyboard
and verify the results. Follow the steps:

    a) Press Windows and X key together and select Device Manager.

    b) Locate the Key board device icon. Right click on the driver icon.
    c) Select Update driver software.
    c) Select "browse my computer for a driver software".
    d) Select “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer”.
    e) Select the driver option according your device model and installed.
    f) If this does not work, follow the steps from ‘a’ to ‘c’ and select
“Search automatically for the updated driver
    ”.
    g) Choose the same steps to update the driver for keyboard as well.

Check if it resolves the issue. If not, I would suggest you to download and install the latest available drivers for the keyboard from manufacturer website. If the issue still persists, install the driver in Windows Compatibility mode and check if that
    helps.

Refer to the link to run the Windows Compatibility troubleshooter to install the drivers:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/older-programs-compatible-version-windows

Hope this helps. Please do let us know if you need further help.
