Windows 10: boot mode is set to : legacy ; secure boot : off

    UEFI vs Legacy boot mode

    It's just the boot time, not so fast, my asus g750 is booting faster *Oh Well boot mode is set to : legacy ; secure boot : off :eek:hwell:
    Ok so besides secure boot, and a bit slower boot, I don't miss out on anything else then.*Smile boot mode is set to : legacy ; secure boot : off :)

    Difficulty setting BIOS to boot in Legacy mode

    I tried all that is suggested by HP but it makes no difference, the Legacy mode simply refuses to stay put. I always ensure that the settings are confirmed before exiting the Setup but that's just it ... the machine always goes back to Secure Mode. Annoyingly,
    prior to the iOmega software being installed and the consequential failure to boot, I could set the PC to boot into Legacy mode with no problem if I chose to.

    You're all good. With UEFI boot partitions can be over 2TB, but that means reformatting drive to GPT.........prob not something you'd want to do....(or me *Smile boot mode is set to : legacy ; secure boot : off :))
    You aren't missing out on much., as mentioned above. Maybe Secure Boot......bleh *Stick Out Tongue boot mode is set to : legacy ; secure boot : off :p
