    Boot-up Programs

As of late, I no longer have my email program auto-start at boot-up.

Also I have never been able to solve the problem of no left click function on the Task Bar and no right click function on the Start button.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    :)

  2. Windows 10 starts programs when i boot up

We would like to clarify if the Task Manager is one that is launching after booting up Windows? or the Spotify application that launches when you start your computer? If yes, you can refer to their website: https://www.technipages.com/spotify-disable-automatic-startup
to know how to disable this application when the computer starts.

You can Rt click on the taskbar to access menu options. Click on task Manager. click the startup tab and see if your Email program is listed. Check the status and see if it is enabled. If it is disabled, you can RT click on it to change the status. The other thing to check are the setting options within the email program to see if they are ok. For the RT click problem on the start button I would try to run the SFC command to check for file system integrity. This is from the tutorial section. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2...dows-10-a.html .

  5. Are you still running the initial upgrade to 10 or did you see a clean install to follow and start seeing this problem of no right click on Start and left click on the task bar? If you are running with the upgrade you will be stuck with that problem forever since the SFC tool will not be able to fix it!

The working solution since the upgrade came out "Buggy" is to now plan a clean install before getting too much invested into the upgrade itself! That will clean up the parts of 10 that never went on fully! Out of three upgrades here the average 1 out of 3 not turning out buggy was the average result it seems most are running into! If the problems are not seen immediately then they are bound to show up sooner or later after having run 10 for a period of time and things start to fall apart. That's how things have been going and why the clean install is recommended.

On two desktops and a laptop the first desktop ran into not seeing 10 even go on at first from having two storage drives plugged and the unplugging of those ended up seeing a buggy upgrade repaired by a second upgrade install to repair. The second desktop however saw 10 go on smoothly! The laptop then turned around and saw no Start button at all. The Start>Settings screen was totally blank, And the AllApps was inaccessible until the immediate clean install already planned corrected all that mess!

I have a great deal of program information invested in this w10HE upgrade and was hoping that MS could repair their inequities in some fashon without a complete reinstall.

I am very much surprised that MS hasn't offered some sort of repair tooling.

Can any of this be repaired through the registry or with a third party repair tool?

    Thank you

I would still check and see if your email program is listed in the startup tab of task manager. Check that and then try and follow the tutorial listed. Just because someone has a bad experience doesn't mean everyone will. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2...dows-10-a.html .

    Boot-up Programs

Unfortunately, I have no left click function for any Task-Bat icons nor do I have a left click function for the W10 Start button.

My email program is set to open at start-up but dosen't.

sfc/scannow has not changed the situation thus far.

Just slowly work your way through the tutorial. Take it step by step sometimes you need to run the sfc command three times. If no luck run the DISM command and then do the SFC command again.

You could just do an in place repair, there are links to that in the sfc command tutorial. I would rather start out slow easy.

  10. As I was saying it won't either! As far as the mouse problem have you tried unplugging that while being at the desktop to try it on a different usb port? If you are not seeing a bug which is still quite likely 10 may not be properly detecting it. I've run into this problem at times not only with 10 but with previous versions as well being a typical not fully detected type problem or something like a stuck contact on the mouse itself from wear.

Actually here I have gone through a few mice in recent months not as a result of 10 but having an optical trackball worn out after a lengthy period of time. One replacement was a total joke! another programmable with 11 buttons simply fell apart. Another is kept as a spare only for fast temp lookovers of a laptop or someone else's desktop not being a programmable model. And finally I ran into an MSI model that is working out well on 10 as it has on 7!

The left click and right click functions both gone on 10 but seen on 7 tells you what? Something is buggy! And so far there are no quick fixes for any upgrade coming out with bugs except to replace a buggy upgrade with a fresh clean install with everything in working order which come to that for you there.

The SFC tool simply cannot fix what was never put on in the first place by the 10 installer when you end up with a buggy upgrade. The problems are generally too extensive when things are not unpacked as they should have been. Upgrade installs with previous versions also have had tendencies to come up Bugged Up! so this isn't any brand new problem except the way 10 has been introduced as an upgrade not a full fresh clean install where the best results are the norm!
