Windows 10: Bootcamp Static sound constantly when playing something and sometimes even not playing anything

I have a 2019 Macbook 15' pro, four thunderbolt, I run windows 11, and used driver both from apple bootcamp and intelthere has been constantly static sound when i play through my audio jack - no problem through the main one, on the macos side everything seems fine, i tryed changing driver, which there isn't much - it didn't help, and i tried to make the channel in a lower resolution, then failed because i can't find a way to change it, there's only 16 bit 2 channel and 48000 HZ DVD qualityit might also be a TRRS problem, i don;t know, however i prove it as a software problem since in my maco

No sound while playing audio and video files.

I appreciate if you could answer to a few questions to narrow down to the issue.

• Which is the application that you are using to play the files?
• Did you try the same on a different player?
• Did you perform any troubleshooting steps?

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to check if the volume is set low or in mute state in Volume Mixer.

• Right click on sound icon.
• Open Volume Mixer check for the application that you are playing the files with and increase the volume and check.

If the issue still persists, I would suggest you to run “Playing audio” troubleshooter to diagnose and fix the issue.

Follow these Steps to run Playing Audio Troubleshooter in Windows 10.

1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

2. Select Troubleshooting.

3. Select View all on the top left corner.

4. Click on Playing audio.

Windows 10 no sound, just static

This computer came pre-loaded with Windows 10, I have owned it for two months, with no sound problems. This morning (unknown if there was a Windows update last night) the sound does not work. There is no partial sound when attempting to play music. There is only a constant (with or without playing music) low-level static.

I have done all the usual steps with drivers, updating, uninstalling, deleting, reinstalling. No change.

Originally in device manager, under Sound there was listed (I forget the exact wording):
Intel
Realtek
NVidea

After uninstalling and rebooting there is only:
High Definition Audio Device (assume this is the default)

On the Asus support website where are only Realtek audio drivers. I downloaded and installed those. So now device manager, under sound, shows:
High Definition Audio Device
Realtek High Definition Audio

No matter what I do, same result, just low-level static, no sound or music of any kind.

Any ideas anyone?

Logoff, Logon, shutdown, restart, startup sounds not playing


I'm running Threshold 2 of Win10. It seems the Startup Sound is working again. Previously, even checked it would only play intermittently on a warm boot, not a cold one. Now it seems to work all the time. There is a 3rd party app that lets you change the Startup Sound to whatever you want, without you having to go through the hack steps.

The Exit Windows sound is another matter. Even enabled via the Registry and reappearing in the Sound list, selecting a sound for that does not make it play at shutdown.
