  1. Booting from Media Creation Tool USB

    I downloaded an old version of protools with an iLok registrion software this has given me tpkd BSOD error. I found the solution to this error through using command prompts, however I cant accsess command prompts on windows 10 without logging in to outlook. I disconnected from my home network when I was installing. My laptop doesnt have an ethernet port either. So I created a windows media creation tool to boot from and reconnect to my home network and then boot back to repair mode and enter the command prompt i need to after logging into outlook. I havent been able to boot from the USB yet im

    :)

  2. Media Creation Tool USB won't boot

    Install USB created with W11 creation tool will boot.

    Install USB created with W10 22H2 creation tool will not boot even after validating and running the tool as admin. Several different USB stick were tried including brand new Samsung FIT. W10 22H2 won't boot. I had to crated a USB with RUFUS and a mounted 22H2 ISO. W10 creation tool isn't creating a booting install USB. I can't say this any more clear.

    Media Creation Tool Failed

    First of all it’s a desktop, two I can’t even get to the OS (clean SSD, USB tool)

    I have already exhausted all the garden variety troubleshooting steps listed for the various errors I have received so far.

    None of them were particularly helpful for cases where can get into the OS or open the media creation tool…

    POST --> F12 --> Boot Menu --> Win10 Pro 64bit Media creation tool --> Enter --> Loads --> POST’s --> Blue Screen*

    *(3 out of 4 errors, 1962 is just a lack of OS on drive)

    I'm thinking its an bad system board

    Media Creation Tool USB won't boot

    Hello Default_20242213,

    Thank you for your reply!

    The choice of what system media to use can be made on an individual basis and according to your needs, you mentioned W11 USB and W10 USB in your reply and you said that the 22H2 won't boot, can you provide further description? For example, do you mean that W10USB won't boot but W11USB will, or that both W10 and W11 won't boot, or that there is more than one installer on your media media.

    If there is more than one installation package in your USB device, you can try to install the full installation package of only one operating system on the USB media media.

    If you can't use the media media without problems and the BIOS boot sequence is correct, it is usually possible that the media media is corrupted or the motherboard is malfunctioning. Combined with the fact that you have already tried two different USBs in your problem scenario, this suggests that you may need to consider a hardware problem with your computer's motherboard, and we recommend that you follow the official steps to recreate the media media and then try it again, and if the new media doesn't boot up without problems. If the new media doesn't start successfully, the problem lies in the computer's hardware. We recommend contacting a hardware repairer or the device manufacturer for a full hardware check.

    Best Regards ,
