    Win 10 boots...

    I can't answer to the speed of Win-8 booting. I tried the Win-8 preview and went back to Win-7 after a month. They say that Win-8.1 is a lot better than Win-8 was.
    My Win-10 TP is working well ATM.

    Win 10 boots...

    Interesting that it works on that oldie but goody laptop.

    I don't notice any speed lags with Win-10 TP, but I'm using it on an i5-4670K system with an SSD for the boot drive, so it's snappy.

    Booting program in Win-10 how to solve it?

    No programs work after Win 10 boots

    I had Windows 10 working without issue. After one time it would not shut down, now when it loads no programs work. Only task manager is accessible and it shows programs list that are 32 bit. The PC is 64 bit and all programs previously loaded worked in
    64 and were 64 bit programs. Changing the boot sector in startup doesn't seem to do anything. Even my Samsung recovery disk doesn't work as it won't running Win 10. I'm at a dead end and may have to reload Win 7 from the OEM disk.

    I'll try anything! Thanks.
