Windows 10: Booting/ Startup Issue

Hi EveryoneRecently I installed a new update of Windows 11 approx. 2 weeks ago. After the update, I'm facing a strange issue with my PC.So, every time I turn on my PC it starts normally and 2 seconds later it turns off automatically, and around 3-4 seconds later it turns on automatically so basically it's on-off-on situation. Then nothing comes to the screen and the motherboard shows 'green' and 'white' LEDs. So in this situation, I press the restart button, and my PC restarts. This time display comes but instead of taking me to the Login screen, it takes me to Pre-BIOS screen basically a

Can't get GPU-Z to start with Windows 8.1 startup

I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?

 

laptop doesnt boot automatically

This is what happened.

1. Did a repair install and later disabled hibertnate in CMD.
2. Enabled legacy option ROM in BIOS.
3. After a few times startup ( i used the system in such mode for 5 days), changed boot option back to default.
4. Vola!! It boots automatically to win10 without any keypress. Tested it with many starts to confirm the same.
5. Re-enabled hibernate option using CMD and later selected Fast Startup.
6. System booted normally, without the need for any keypress.

I do not know exactly whether such steps resolved the problem or what else happened, hence cannot suggest above steps.

I appreciate the steps that you have tried, I would suggest you to try the below steps as well and check if it helps.

Method 1: Run the System Maintenance troubleshooter and check if it helps.

  Type troubleshooter in the search box and then press enter.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting. Click on
  view all and select System Maintenance.
  
• 
  Click next and follow the on-screen instructions.
  

Note: I would suggest you to disconnect all the external devices other than mouse and keyboard and check if it helps.

Method 2: Enable Fast Start Up on the system and check if it helps. To do this, follow the steps below.

• 
  Open Control Panel and go to Power Options.
  
• 
  Click/tap on the Choose what the power buttons do link on the left side.
  
• 
  Click/tap on the Change settings that are currently unavailable link at the top.
  
• 
  If prompted by UAC, then click/tap on Yes.
  
• 
  Ensure that Turn on Fast Startup is checked.
  
• 
  Restart the computer.
  

Method 3: Boot the computer in a clean boot state and check. Setting the system in a clean boot state will help to identify if any third party applications/drivers or startup items are causing the issue.
