Windows 10: BOOTMGR is missing Windows 7

Discus and support BOOTMGR is missing Windows 7 in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; A while back I marked the windows xp mode vhd as the active partition to see if it would actually boot, but I got the BOOTMGR is missing screen....     BOOTMGR is missing Windows 7


    A while back I marked the windows xp mode vhd as the active partition to see if it would actually boot, but I got the BOOTMGR is missing screen. Fast-forward a few years, I got it up and running on hyper-v on windows 10 Local disk C;:\0 but the screen is still there. is there way that I can change the active partition on local Disk D:\ so that I can boot into windows 7? I don't have installation media

    BOOTMGR is missing.......

    BOOTMGR is missing... I attempted to install Windows Vista and Windows Vista had an error occur and could not install... I waited 30 mins for it to exit the install but it never did... Consequently, I restarted the computer...

    Ever since then I get this message...

    "BOOTMGR is missing..."

    "Press CTRL+ALT+DLT to restart."

    Everytime I do nothing happens... Same message.

    What do I do?? *Confused BOOTMGR is missing Windows 7 :confused:

    missing bootmgr

    My friends computer took a dump on him a couple times already and this time it says its missing bootmgr press ctrl alt delete to restart and it just keeps doing it over and over again. Ive tried booting off the disk and repairing it from the windows 7 disk but that didnt help it just shuts down when it says windows is starting.

    Would running chkdsk fix this??

    EDIT: I am able to boot into safemode
