Windows 10: Bootup never stays at normal, always goes back to selective.

I do msconfig to change the startup from selective to normal, reboot, and always go back to selective, What can I do to keep it at normal bootup?

When Windows loads in a Normal startup, it loads several programs and non Microsoft Services at Windows bootup. Most of this is not necessary to function the computer. If you choose to do a Clean Boot, or just to stop some apps from loading with Windows, it will list this as Selective Startup. You can leave it this way, it does no harm, as most programs except for Anti-Virus do not need to run at Startup.

 

Desctop got 2/3 of the normal size

This should be resolved by updating the screen resolution for your display. Kindly follow the steps below:

1. Open Start , select Settings > System > Display.
2. Under Scale and layout, check the setting under Change the size of text, apps, and other items. We suggest you use the percentage marked "(Recommended)."
3. If that doesn't solve your problem, under Resolution, select a new value. We suggest you stick with the resolution marked "(Recommended)."

SELECTIVE START UP TO NORMAL START UP

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

To understand the issue better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

• How did you enter into selective startup?
• Since from when are you facing this issue?
• What happened when you try to get into Normal mode, did you get any error messages?

I would suggest you to refer the below screenshot and try to enter the Safe Mode through Login Screen.

• Press Windows + R keys, type msconfig and hit
  enter.
• Select Boot tab. Uncheck the selective Startup and
  Check Normal Boot.
• Restart the machine and check.
