  1. Bose QC35 II - do not show up under Bluetooth add a device

Hello,I have updated Bose drivers on my headphones, and I have updated device drives on my PC. I am able to connect my headphones to my iPhone, but they are not showing up as an option when trying to connect to my PC via Bluetooth.Windows 10 64-bit, version 21H2From everything I've read, the headphones should be showing up as an option on my PC.

  2. Trouble using Bose QC35 headphones, Alexa and Bluetooth

Don't have Bose Bluetooth, wish I did. Mine are wired.

Under method two, is this still applicable to your version of the software?

Search high and low for actual screen shots / manual. No luck.

I might also contact Bose, sounds like a glitch in app software. What kind of phone are you using with App and is up to date?

  3. Bose QuietControl 30 Bluetooth problem

    Hi Yosef Persin,

Based on the information you have provided, it seems like the Bose QuietControl 30 Bluetooth headset is already connected since it is showing from Devices and Printers. I suggest that you set the Bose QuietControl 30 Bluetooth headset as your default playback
and recording device. To do this follow the steps below:

    1. Right-click the volume icon from the System tray on the lower right side of your desktop.
    2. Choose Playback devices.
    3. Go to Playback tab, select Bose QuietControl 30 Bluetooth headset (driver) and then click
      Set Default.
    4. Click Apply and then hit OK.
    5. Go to Recording tab, select Bose QuietControl 30 Bluetooth headset (driver) and then click
      Set Default.
    6. Click Apply and then hit OK.
    7. Restart your computer to apply the changes.

Let us know how it goes and we'll assist you further if needed.

Bose QC35 II - do not show up under Bluetooth add a device

Trouble using Bose QC35 headphones, Alexa and Bluetooth

The latest Bose noise cancelling headphones are the NC700 which I have, and you don't need the app (Bose Music) to connect them to a Bluetooth phone or PC - mine are connected to my Samsung Galaxy Note 9; however if you want all the bells and whistles, you'd want to app. But it's definitely not needed to connect to phones or PC.

Anyway I can't help the OP because the NC700 uses a different app form the QC35 NC phones. This makes at least 3 app I know of since 2017 - There's the "SoundTouch" app for the SoundTouch 300 soundbar speaker system (ST300), there's the Bose "Connect" app for the SoundTouch 700 soundbar speaker system and QC 35 headphones, and now the "Music" app for the NC700 NC phones.

And none shall work with the others - the ST300 speakers aren't compatible with the Bose Music app, the Bose Music app isn't compatible with the ST300. And BTW "Connect" app isn't compatible with the ST300 speakers. WTH *Eek

All that said, I can't speak for the "Connect" app (haven't used it), but both the SoundTouch and Music apps can be extremely flakey when trying to connect to the devices. And the SoundTouch app (a must for network connection) is nightmarish when trying to connect the Soundbar 300 to a network.

Bose makes some great hardware but their software is horrendous! Don't believe me, Google it.
