Windows 10: Bose QC45 Audio Output Issue for Windows 11

Has anyone had this error before and been able to fix? For some reason starting a couple days ago, my Windows 11 only recognizes my headphones as a microphone and not as headphones. This is preventing me from using them as a regular output for sound. Any help would be appreciate. I have removed the device from the computer bluetooth setting and restarted the pc, but still it came in as a microphone

I have the same issue.

I have noticed that every time microphone is working it is shown by my camera LED - when it's on (white light) microphone in Teams is worknig. When it's off microphone from headsets is gone.

I have also notice, that in previous windows 10 it was so easy. I had two devices "Bose QC45" super sound quality and "Bese QC45 Headset" - low quality - low bandwidth but WITH microphone. I could decide which device to use.

Now the auto system should switch automatically it jams everything.

Unfortunately, the Bose QC45 is not a certified device for the Microsoft Team app, so the results are inconsistent. Users should use only certified devices.

Bose QC45 not working with MS Teams

Hi,

I have purchased a Bose QC45 recently. It doesnt work with MS Teams, I didnt had initially but for some reason it stopped working.

There are 2 options when connected (Stereo and Audio). Tried both the options, with selecting the sterio option, I can hear the sounds while making a test call but when there is actual call (Meetings). Unable to hear myself and the other side as well.

Does anyone know why this is happening?
