Windows 10: Both CTRL keys stop-start working but Physically, there's no problem

So, i was using VS Code and i normally pressed the ctrl + s but it registered an s instead of saving, then i pressed ctr + z to undo it but guess what, it registered an z, then as of writing this post, it started working when i used ctrl + shift + arrow to select a word, but then it stopped.This is a very weird behavior that just one key is active and then unactive. tried running update on the keyboard driver in device manager and windows update but nahhcan Somebody help?

CTRL Keys not working.

I tried all the above methods, but still it is not working. I noticed that the onscreen keyboard is working with the CTRL and also I tried connecting an external keyboard. That worked too. I don't understand how both the CTRL stopped working suddenly as
I don't even use the right CTRL much.

Follow the steps below and check if that helps.

Method 1: To check if Ctrl keys work in Onscreen keyboard.

• Press Windows Key + R and type osk and hit Enter.

Try using Ctrl keys and check if that helps.

if you still face the issue, try Method 2.

Method 2: Run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with the Bluetooth adapter. Refer these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X, select
  Control panel.
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons.
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel.
  
• 
  Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.
  
• 
  Restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.

My left ctrl key stopped working, and the right ctrl key is pressing both keys

Hello fellow members, so I recently bought a new keyboard because I got a gaming PC, and probably 2 weeks into using this keyboard, during gameplay. the left ctrl key for some reason stopped working, and all of a sudden both ctrl keys were being pressed
at the same time (and it didn't stop), I don't know what happened but that problem is gone, but the left ctrl key is still not working, and I found out that the right ctrl is simultaneously the left ctrl key, I don't get it, please help me if you can people,
