Windows 10: Both Left and Right CTRL keys are not working on my laptop keyboard

Laptop was just open, left CTRL key was not working, despite that everything was fine a couple hours before.Tried to restart the laptop, to update the keyboard drivers.CTRL key is working on the Ease-Of-Use desktop keyboard - after I saw that, I also tried to use the right CTRL which was also not working.All other keys seem to work fine.I have windows 10. The laptop is not from Microsoft, it is an Asus ROG.What would be possible solutions?Many thanks!!

right side CTRL key does not work

Thanks for your response. I've tried all the steps you've recommended and my problem has not been resolved.

My computer is a Lenovo Ideapad P400 laptop so its not a stand alone keyboard. Right side ctrl key does not work on the on screen keyboard. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

 

Windows Key + CTRL + Right Doesn't Work (Desktop Switch)

Hi,

I love the new multiple desktops. However, the desktop switch isn't working for me.

It's an odd bug...

Windows Key + (left) CTRL + Right Arrow Key will not work, but Windows Key + (left) CTRL + Left Arrow Key will work.

Both the left and right arrow keys work when I use the right CTRL key, and the left CTRL key works perfectly fine using an external keyboard.

Any suggestions?

problem, because ctrl + mouse scroll works for zooming out/in webpages. Used a second new keyboard, same thing.

Tried the uninstalling keyboard drivers, didn't work. Please help! Thanks!
