Windows 10: Both monitors show the same image

I bought a hdmi splitter and now when both monitors are plugged in they display the same image and multiple displays doesn’t show anything and nothing changes when I change between duplicate and extend

Monitor image slightly off screen

See if there is a driver for your specific monitor, change the refresh rate or use the image adjustments from the monitor as twicksisted suggested.

My workaround is to use PowerPoint Screen Recorder but this need additional screen capture.

The reason for Screen Recorder is Windows 10 Mouse Cursor for Office Menu item disappear when select Screen Capture App. It is cumbersome to show Tech Support what is selected on Office App on captured screen...
