Windows 10: Both monitors turning off to no signal after launching or playing games.

This issue came out of no where and the pc has been running fine for years. When playing a game or sometimes instantly as soon as I load in to any game both my monitors turn off and show a "no signal" screen. The majority of the time my pc stays on during this and for me to be able to do anything I would have to restart my pc. Some of the times the pc shuts down and restarts itself. I am on windows 11 and have been using it with no issues at all until recently.

launching some games gives me no signal

when i launch some games, ie warhammer, it boots then my monitor goes off and gives me no signal. iv got latest drivers etc and my computer is good enough to run these games. theyr installed on a separate 500gb disc to my os, but somr work and some dont.

any suggestions will be appreciated.

This happens if the signal from the video adapter exceeds the scan range of the monitor. The video card is feeding the monitor a signal stream in excess of what the monitor can accommodate. The two main causes for this are that either the resolution
or the vertical frequency is set high.

You may try the troubleshooting steps listed in HP and Compaq Flat Panel Monitors - Flat Panel Monitor Displays Message about
No Signal, Signal out of Range, Sleep, or Power Save and check if it helps.

When you get the no signal turn the monitor off and on again, i have a problem with some games and my monitor where it will not redetect the signal on a resolution change and so claims there is no signal. Turning it off and on again fixes the problem.
