Windows 10: Both my buttons are right clicking even when I reversed it in my mouse settings

I just started having this problem today. I doubt I have a virus because I never download things. I read maybe the mouse needs a cleaning, though I don't know how to do that, But I'm scared it might be something else. My mouse is spazzing but nothing else

Mouse button functions reversed

I have seen answers to what appears to be the same question as this, but my problem is unresolved. The left and right buttons on my
mouse only are reversed. I am using Windows 10.

The left and right buttons on my touchpad work as they should, it is just my mouse. I have tried using a second mouse, but the issue remains.

I have followed the instructions as per a similar post, and this just switches the button functions on my touchpad, the problem remains on my mouse.

Can anyone suggest a fix. It's the mouse only, not the touchpad.

Mouse right click is intermittent; what should I check?

Hi everyone,

I've been having a problem with my Razer Copperhead mouse. Holding down the right mouse button no longer sends a constant hold-click to my PC; instead it repeats an endless cycle of click and release, like the "turbo" buttons on old console controllers. Still, the mouse makes only one audible click, initially, when holding down the button. This problem manifests itself in shooter games (where holding right click usually looks down the scope) as the gun constantly zooming in and out. This only occurs with the right mouse button, not the left. I'm right handed, so it's weird that the left mouse button gets more wear than the right but it still works fine.

I initially thought this was an issue with the mouse being dirty, so I disassembled the mouse and cleaned everything inside and out, and this didn't fix the issue. I would like suggestions on how I can fix the mouse or if replacing it is the only option.
