What does the bottomless 8 mean, the one that appears on the Windows-10 login screen?

Most of the Nokia firmware is non-downgradeable.

The carkit is much more likely to be upgradeable though. Most car mechanics don't care to check. Just keep searching & see if there is an update mentioned anywhere. A local carphone installer I met is a bottomless pit of carphone trivia. Perhaps ring around
installers.

Thanks. But I'm disappointed. This "bottomless 8" looks a lot like an upside-down Taurus. I hoped it had some cosmic significance but obviously I was expecting too much. It certainly fits with Windows 10!

 

Think of it as a modern version of the usual stick figure for a person.
