Windows 10: Bought Minecraft, Can't Install.. keeps saying something happened on our end.

Windows Store "Something happened on our end." while trying to install minecraft for window

As the title suggests, whenever I try to install Minecraft for windows I get an error in the windows store that says "Something happened on our end." The Java edition of the game works perfectly fine, but it refuses to install the windows edition.

I've watched multiple videos on troubleshooting this issue, but none of it seems to work.

For like a year anytime I try to install Minecraft Windows edition is has an error where it says "Something happened on our end" and I can't fix it.

 

I bought Minecraft Java Edition and it says I didn't

I don't think that would work, what happened to me is I bought Minecraft, if I go into the installations tab in the launcher I can play, but when i go into the skins tab it says i do not have Minecraft. when I click the link, it just shows the Minecraft download page, saying, "download Minecraft if you haven't already" meaning I already payed, which I did and bought it.
