Windows 10: Bought Minecraft java at the start of the year then after a few days after the summer deal...

I bought Java at the start of the year but then a few days after the summer deal it says I don't have it; I now only have bedrock and when I try to redeem the deal it says the back of a receipt has a code? I don't have a code to redeem, and the game wants me to buy another card, I'm not doing that, I have tried everything, and nothing works, when I try to start up java it says, "Enter a username for Minecraft: Java Edition" and then when I put my normal username it says, "Failed to create profile" then when I try to play bedrock it works. Could I get any tips or information on why this could b

Several years ago I bought Minecraft and not minecraft java or minecraft windows it was just minecraft i havent played on pc for a long time but i got a new pc and i wanted to play minecraft with my friends on xbox but apparently i have java edition and
not the windows edition I cant seem to find anyone to help me so plz help

Mojang refunds policy and check their refund policy.



If you want to swap your editions of Minecraft that you have purchased, please
Contact Mojang Support and they will help you with this.



If you have purchased Minecraft from Microsoft Store, then I suggest you to refer
Returning items you bought from Microsoft Store for exchange or refund
and check if you can get a refund.



As you need the Java Edition of Minecraft, you can follow the steps mentioned in

the Java Edition of Minecraft on your computer.
