Recently i bought minecraft for my console and i have been wanting to play it on my personal computer, i have used the same account but it just won't pop up in the microscoft store

Minecraft Console Updates

Llamas, parrots and illagers arrive on Console Edition!

As you probably know, we’ll soon be bringing you the Better Together Update, which will combine console and mobile editions into one super-lovely version of Minecraft - but that doesn’t mean we're twiddling our thumbs in the meantime! Console Edition will still be getting updated with new features, and those platforms which won’t support the Better Together Update will continue getting updates even after it lands.

With that in mind… here’s an update for you! Yay! It should be rolling out right now across Xbox and Playstation platforms, with Switch and Wii U to follow on later tonight.

New Features:

7 new Achievements/Trophies

New UI engine (saving significant memory - which should boost performance!)

Llamas

Parrots

Woodland Mansion

Treasure Maps

Observer Block

Totem of Undying

Illagers! Vindicator, Vex and Evoker!

‘Bouncy’ Beds

Dyeable beds

Option to change Biomes size to match other platforms (since they are smaller on console by default)

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

There is a complete step by step available, if you have any issues ...

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

Are you feeling a bit left because of our recent PC/Mac and Pocket / Windows 10 updates, console kids? Aww. There's no need to be sad. Christmas is just around the corner. And (if you've been well-behaved) Santa might bring you a tangerine or something.

Also... we've just released a big update for all console editions of Minecraft!1!1

This one features a wide range of Minecraft goodness from new mobs to fresh status effects. We've also revamped The End - take a visit to that mysterious place after updating and you might find End Cities, End Ships and a complete gamechanger known as Elytra - they which will give you a whole new perspective on your world.

Here’s the full changelog:

New mobs: Shulker, Stray Skeleton, Husk Zombie, Skeleton Trap Horses

New Blocks: Chorus Flower, Chorus Plant, Dragon Head, End Gateway, End Rod, Purpur Block,

Purpur Pillar, Purpur Stairs, Purpur Slab

New Items: Chorus Fruit, Chorus Fruit, Dragons’s Breath, Elytra, End Crystal, Lingering Potion, Water Splash Potion, Popped Chorus Fruit, Potion of Luck, Tipped Arrow; Spruce, Birch, Jungle, Acacia, and Dark Oak boats

New Status Effects: Levitation, Luck

The End: significant changes to The End dimension – End Cities, End Ship

Crafting: UI updated to allow crafting fireworks, similarly to how Banners are crafted

Brewing: changed to include a slot for Blaze Powder

Tutorial: new Tutorial world, including tutorials for Banners and Elytra
