Windows 10: Bought Minecraft with Code - Shows in Redeemed Purchases and have bought addons for it for...

Hi,I bought my son on this account a copy of Minecraft for Windows 10 with a redeemed code around Xmas. We've purchased quite a few packs for him one that you charged us twice for. Thanks! and now as of yesterday's update we no longer have access to minecraft to install or update.

I understand that you are not receiving a code to redeem the Minecraft Bedrock edition. We would like to know the place of purchase for Minecraft.



If you have purchased Minecraft from Microsoft Store, you can go the order history page in your Microsoft account and you will be able to find the redeem code. Refer the article on

If you still face issues and purchased Minecraft from Microsoft Store, I suggest you to get in touch with the

Microsoft Store support team and they will be able to assist you appropriately.

I bought a minecraft gift card and redeemed it for the old version of minecraft.

So I wanted to play Minecraft with my friends so I redeemed Minecraft on a website that it had said on the back of the gift card I had purchased. So, after doing this I played and I couldn't play with my friends on It getting frustrated my friend explained
to me that I had redeemed the OLD MINECRAFT instead of the newer one on web-store. So, I researched and if I had bought Minecraft java before October of 2018 I could get Bedrock for free, but sadly it's September 2019, and I probably just wasted thirty dollars.
There is always Christmas money, I guess.
