    Can someone from Microsoft please help me this is ridiculous my hardware hasn't changed it's exactly the same model mobo you can't expect people to pay another $280 just because of a a faulty motherboard replaced with exactly the same model.

    Can't reactivate Windows 10 after faulty motherboard replaced

    Hi,

    I had to replace my motherboard as it was faulty. I only built the system about 2 months ago.

    When I try to activate Windows 10 it just says I need to buy another product key. Even after running the troubleshooter it just says "We can’t reactivate Windows on this device. Try again later. " and helpfully suggest I buy Windows 10 again.

    How can I get this activated?

    Can't activate Windows 10 Pro after Motherboard replacement

    I got my computer professionally built just over a month ago but had to get them to replace a faulty motherboard. Unfortunately its now not allowing me activate Windows. I definitely activated it before the motherboard broke and its definitely attached
    to my account (I can actually see 2 versions of the same computer in my Microsoft Account devices list). I've only ever used the Product Key on this computer too.

    I'm in Japan, my motherboard crashed, there is no mail to contact microsoft, and my copy of windows 10 pro bought one month ago won't reactivate.

    I'm in Japan, my motherboard crashed, there is no mail to contact microsoft, and my copy of windows 10 pro bought one month ago won't reactivate cause I didn't connect on the Microsoft store in between the first activation and the crash ... so basically
    the machine on which I activated windows no longer exists ... The new machine have a motherboard with exactly the same spec, except it's Gigabyte instead of MSI and this time there is a Dual BIOS ... Please put me in contact with someone at Microsoft ...
    everything on the website seem to be done so I can't reactivate my windows and buy a new copy ... But I won't do that ... I JUST BOUGHT this copy ...
