Windows 10: Boundless right hand screen

When I push my cursor off the right hand of the screen it continues to move in virtual space as far as I move the mouse. Slightly off-screen and a tiny left move brings it back. However, if I continue to move the mouse right it takes the same amount of movement of the mouse to the left to return the cursor to the right edge before it is visible again. This is very annoying! This is not the case with the other 3 boundaries, the cursor only goes as far as the edge of the screen and disappears but it remains just off-screen no matter the amount of input to the mouse to move it farther. Whether it be up, down or to the left, it only moves in virtual space past the right-hand boundary of the screen.

You can configure the mouse settings for left hand and set the touchpad for normal use.

Follow these steps to configure the mouse settings:

  Press Windows key + I to get the Settings screen.

  Click on Devices and then click on Mouse and Touchpad.

Method 1:



Try putting the PC in Clean Boot and see if you face the same issue. Refer the article
How to perform a clean boot in Windows



If the games are working fine in Clean Boot, then refer the section
How to determine what is causing the problem after you do a clean boot to identify the root cause of the issue.



Note: After you finish troubleshooting refer the section
Reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting to boot the PC normally.

Create a new user account to identify user account corruption. Refer the article

Create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10
