Hello everyone,a few month ago i posted with my wrong accout about the same problem, you can found the original thread here.HW:- i9-12900K- Asus Maximus Formula Z690- nVidia RTX 3080Ti/3090Ti- 2xm.2 SSD _ 1x OS _ 1x Videogames- Corsairs HX1200I wanted to update it but it's locked and i cannot do anything, so I would make an update on my main account.I would like to have a new opinion about the situation and a suggestion on how to proceed now with the new status. After all the situation described in the link above i decided to contiue to use the PC as is without an RMA with deafult BIOS setting

    :)

  2. Brand new assembled PC but continuous BSOD

Hi, about a month ago I started buying on amazon (it, es, de) the HW components for my new desktop PC. From the moment I received all the components and was able to use the PC I had several problems of different nature. First problem: with HDMI cable connected to the video card (RTX3080Ti EVGA) at startup I see nothing, at most the WIN11 buffer wheel and then nothing, black glitched screen with pink and blue pixelated lines.

I make several attempts and decide to change the video card. Having received the new video card (same model) I try to start the PC again and I have the same errors but I realize that if I use the HDMI connected to the motherboard, I can enter WIN11 without problems. Using different combinations of shortcuts, I understand that the problem was with WIN11 as if I entered the safe mode I could safely navigate the blue menu for repair, but as soon as I started windows in one of the safe modes or in normal mode it would crash as always . So I try to install Ubuntu on another SSD and I find that the PC with Ubuntu starts quietly without problems, I install some games from steam to give it a try and they seem to run quietly, even the benchmarks are not bad. Then in desperation I try to launch windows again, but for the hurry I don't put it as the first boot drive but I start it directly from the override in the boot menu of the Asus BIOS. In this case I can access WIN11 even with HDMI connected to the video card. So, happy with the "result", I've gone back into the BIOS and put the drive with WIN11 as the first drive but I was back to the starting point, that is WIN11 fails to boot if I have the HDMI cable connected to the video card. After several attempts, in a completely random way, the PC manages to boot even with the drive with WIN11 as the first boot device and therefore totally randomly it seems that it has managed to solve all my problems. Now happy to have solved all the problems I start windows, I install my programs and my video games and use the PC as I always did with the old one. Here, however, new problems arrive, although I manage to do long gaming sessions and stress the PC between benchmarks and stress tests, totally random, both under heavy load and in idle the PC crashes with BSODs from different codes, basically all related to memories (the most frequent is page fault i a non paged area). I tried to do a memtest and immediately (I leave the RAM as they were) I get 30 errors.

At this point, for the sake of completeness, I do other memtest and test every RAM for every slot on the motherboard and I never get any errors again. Strangely enough as far as I'm concerned, the RAM first gives multiple errors and then doesn't give any more despite having made another 8 tests (4 slots for each bank of RAM - 2x16GB). To be sure I returned the RAM and bought others, of other brands (both models and brand are compatible list of Motherboard), I testes a few days and I have again the BSODs that I have always received since I was able to use WIN11. At this point the only things that remains to do to test HW is the return of the motherboard and processor, but now I'm out of 30 days for the amazon return and requesting the refund / replacement is no longer so easy ... also because I bought the motherboard from amazon.es and I'm in Italy. I would like some suggestions to solve this problem, if there were any. In the meantime I thought of leaving the PC on with Ubuntu and see if it crashes even with Ubuntu or not. I have already tried all the solutions found already online without any success.
I have already tried a lot of solution found in the web but no one works.

  3. Brand new PC BSoD

    Hi,

Corrupted drivers and system files are one of the possible reasons why this issue is happening. We'd like to get additional information to help resolve the issue. Kindly answer the following questions below:

    • What is the stop error code showing on the screen whenever you experience BSoD? (e.g.: 0x0000000A, 0x0000003B, and 0x000000EF)
    • Did you installed any third-party applications on your new computer before the issue started?
    • Is there a specific action you're doing on the computer that triggers BSoD?
In the meantime, we suggest performing the possible solutions in this
    article
to help resolve blue screen errors.

We'll keep an eye out for your response.

    Hi DI FABIO Matteo

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    1

It is very strange that when you test your ram together, there are errors, yet individually testing each stick, there are no errors

Boot your PC into BIOS, if there is an XMP profile set on your RAM, disable that, set it to default.

    2

Please check to see if your PC is producing any minidump files, I will check those to see if they provide any insight into a potential cause of the system crashes.

    Open Windows File Explorer.

    Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Copy any minidump files onto your Desktop, then zip those up.

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox... etc.), then choose to share those and get a share link.

Then post the link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you.
