Windows 10: Brand new computer BSOD during games.

I am attempting to help a friend of mine troubleshoot her brand new computer that is experiencing BSOD during PUBG and some other general sluggish performance.


I have already removed bloatware and am doing a fresh installation of the graphics drivers as well. From what I can tell reading the minidump files is that it is directly related to her graphics card. I am trying to confirm if I am right and heading in the right course to fix the problems. My second to last resort is updating the BIOS and my last resort is doing a completely fresh installation of Windows.


I have five DMP files for every crash she has experienced. Any insight that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

HELP ! BSOD with brand new computer.

Hi,

I just bought a brand new computer running with Windows 10.

When I first turned it on, I had a BSOD within 1min. I had to do a "hard" restart because it crashed again when it restarted.

While I was doing the initial configuration, it may have crashed 3 times more. Then, I started to install the usual software (Office, Adobe, Anti-virus...) and it crashed again at least twice.

I did all the steps that are listed here.

Brand new PC BSoD

Corrupted drivers and system files are one of the possible reasons why this issue is happening. We'd like to get additional information to help resolve the issue. Kindly answer the following questions below:

• What is the stop error code showing on the screen whenever you experience BSoD? (e.g.: 0x0000000A, 0x0000003B, and 0x000000EF)
  
• Did you installed any third-party applications on your new computer before the issue started?
  
• Is there a specific action you're doing on the computer that triggers BSoD?

BSOD When playing games

Please share the information requested below:

• Does the BSOD occur while playing a particular game?
• Is the game downloaded from Windows Store?

I suggest you to update the Graphic Card drivers by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.
