Windows 10: Brand new computer lags and freezes for a few seconds every now and then

Hello, I have recently built a gaming computer. The issue I am having is the computer will randomly freeze and lock up with programs not responding but I am able to move the mouse. This extends to things like task manager and windows event viewer. The problem is most prevalent when playing games, using discord or browsing the internet. About thee issue itself, It seems to happen when it is doing multiple things at once like WoW and Discord. It normally only locks up for 10-15 seconds and releases after that and follows all inputs from while it is frozen. Audio completely freezes as well during

New computer occasionally freezes, then releases

Brand new Alienware Aurora R9, wiped with fresh install fully patched Win 10 Home. I installed only Chrome, nVidia GeForce Experience and up-to-date drivers, and one game, and started experiencing occasional freezes. I thought the machine had locked up and
that perhaps I had corrupted something during a RegEdit session to change a stupid MS install option, so I re-wiped and re-installed.

This time around, I installed again the nVidia stuff, Chrome, but nothing else, no games, no apps.This time around I didn't touch the registry and was very careful to fully patch and keep everything pristine and clean. Still, the freezes occurred. This time
I waited for about 20-30 seconds to see if it was truly a lockup and I discovered that the machine was eventually released back to me. It's almost as though I had encountered a severe lag spike which froze all the action and then managed to recover after 20-30
seconds.

It's a brand new rig, all diagnostics report clean health, no issues. What could be causing this? Thanks for any insights or suggestions.

 

Brand NEW computer keep freezing

The computer came with Windows 10. It has nice specs and such but important thing is it is brand new.

But the problem is it will freeze (seem every time I am reading something on Microsoft Edge internet) often and I wait and wait but it doesn't unfreeze. Alt/ctrl/delete doesn't work. I have had to use the shut down button on the computer tower, resetting
it, and it will work again but not for long. Maybe 40 minutes then will freeze again. How come? I don't have much apps downloaded, since it's still so new and I'm still getting used to it.

When I say freeze, i mean even the startmenu bar freeze too. I can't change windows. nothing. the mouse will still move tho.

 

Keyboard lag while typing on brand new laptop

I downloaded the program that you suggested and I ran it. It showed me a list of drivers that I had to update. Since the program wasn't free I had to update them through device manager. Once I updated all of the drivers, I restarted the computer and tested
if the typing issue was resolved.

Unfortunately, it still continues to lag while typing.
