Windows 10: Brand new computer windows 11 pin no longer available and no Wi-Fi can’t login

Just bought a new computer last month. System updated last night and now I have the message “your pin is no longer available due to a change in the security settings on this device.” I can’t change the pin or even login on another account bc there is no Wi-Fi. I can’t even login with a different admin account bc it isn’t recognizing the password. I’ve tried every fixI can find but can’t make it far bc it won’t recognize any accounts.

Windows 10 stop automatically connecting to random new wi-fi networks

Hi,

I have searched a lot, but all the tutorials I found only explained how to not connect automatically to a known wi-fi network or how to disable wi-fi sense... but this is not what I am looking for...

PROBLEM:

• When my laptop (Windows 10 Pro X64) is not connected to a network and the wireless adapter is on, it will automatically connect to any random new unsecured wi-fi network... The only way I have now to avoid this is to disable my wi-fi adapter.

UNUSEFUL TUTORIALS I FOUND ON THE INTERNET:

• How to manually uncheck the option for a particular wi-fi network not to connect automatically in Network Properties. This is not what I am looking for. This would suggest that everytime I power my computer. I would have to manually go through all the available wi-fi networks and unclick them all...
• How to disable Wi-Fi Sense. This is not useful, because I don't even have a Wi-Fi sense option in my computer where the tutorials say it should be.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:

• I am looking for an option to tell my computer to stop connecting randomly to unknown wi-fi networks like an hyperactive, reckless idiot.

PERSONAL COMMENT:

• Honestly, why would any respectable company think that it could be somewhat wise or secure to do this... Anyone's computer could just randomly connect to any hacker's wi-fi network without the user even knowing it...

Kindly follow the below methods:

Method 1:

I suggest you to delete the network and reconnect.

Please follow the steps:

• 
  Type settings in search bar and press enter.
  
• 
  Go to network and internet and select
  Wi-Fi option.
  
• 
  Click on manage and delete the network which is not connected.
  
• 
  Disable and enable Wi-Fi option, then the network will be available in the
  available networks.
  
• 
  Select the network and connect to it by providing password.
  

If the issue still persist follow method 2.

Method 2:

I suggest you to connect the computer to the network manually.

Please follow the below steps:

• 
  Right click on the network icon which is in the notification area.
  
• 
  Select open network and sharing center.
  
• 
  Then select setup a new connection or network.
  
• 
  Under choose a connection option select
  set up a new network.
  
• 
  Choose the network which you want to connect and provide the login credentials.

Unable to login using The login PIN

Hi,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft community.

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the pin and check fi it helps.

• In the login page next to “PIN password option”.
• You will find “Other sign in options”, click on it will prompt you for regular password.
• Enter regular password and login to the computer.
• I suggest you to click on the Start Menu
  and select settings.
• Now select Accounts.
• Next select the tab Sign-in option.
• Under the “PIN tab” click on “ADD” option.
• It will prompt you for current pin password and new password, please provide
  new password then apply the changes, restart
  the computer and check if it works.
