Windows 10: Brand new HP Pavillion laptop and the bottom section of screen turned green, how to fix?

Hi, Purchased a new HP Pavillion less than a week ago and the bottom section of the screen turned green. How do I fix it?

HP Pavillion DV4 Laptop Needs Screen Cable...

Have a HP Pavillion DV4 Laptop, screen started to go whacky about a year ago, but wiggling the cover would fix it, over time got worse to the point it completely stopped working.

I took the unit apart, put it back together and WHAM, it was working fine... until I moved the screen and it started to go haywire again, lines, a semi blank white screen, etc. External monitor works fine.

The screen is a complete b*tch to work on, and I suspect it's a damaged cable. There's a cable bundle (it's not a ribbon) that winds around the lid hinge - I think it's frayed.

Nice laptop, can handle most games and loaded with features. Would like to fix it. Anyone have experience with an HP laptop?

Using Win10 on an HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop

PIN went away. Now when I go into create a PIN I get "Something went wrong. Try again later". The step prior is: Start.>Settings>Accounts>Sign in Options>Windows Hello PIN and it reads "This options is currently unavailable - click to learn more". I
followed the steps suggested, but they don't work

Suggestions?.

 

Updates to my hp pavillion laptop

My hp pavillion laptop has beenstuck on updates 74% complete for 2 days. I can't get past this screen I've turned pc off numerous times and still on same screen. Please help
