    Brand new laptop wont accept log on password


    HELP - I have a brand new HP laptop that I started for the first time last night. I set up a password and name but when I restarted the computer this morning it would not accept my password which I know is correct. What can I do?

    my microsoft pw not accepted

    I was on vacation and when i returned i opened my laptop to log in and was asked pw.. I entered my password but it wont log in i even did reset my microsoft pw in my cellphone but it wont accept my new password in my laptop.I dont know what to do . I have
    an asus laptop . Hope somebody can help me . Thank you in advance

    Windows 10 start-up log in

    Prior to windows 10 ( windows 8.1), I was using Microsoft account to log in to my laptop with no problems. After I installed windows 10, I could not log in. It keeps saying that my password is wrong. So I changed my password 3x already and they wont work.
    IF I keep trying to log in using my original password, it will eventually let me log in but not after many many tries. So now, i cannot use my laptop regularly since i have to get lucky for the laptop to accept the original password (none of the new passwords
    work). This needs to be fixed by Microsoft.

    Brand new laptop wont accept log on password

    Is it a local account or a Microsoft account associated with an email address? After typing the login password, click on the eye icon on the right of the password box to see if the revealed password is correct. Merry Christmas!
