Brand new laptop wont let me access shopify log in page - 'Your connection needs to be verified before you can proceed Verifying you are human. This may take a few seconds.' and then this is added underneath - 'Verification is taking longer than expected. Check your Internet connection and refresh the page if the issue persists.'Laptop - Asus Tuf gaming laptopI have tried 3 different browsers, reset my router, checked internet settings. I can easily access on other devices in my home, including 2 laptops. I have turned off the Mcafee protection that my new laptop came with. Turned of

W10 can connect to wider internet but cannot access web pages

I have an odd issue with my W10 laptop linked to Sky broadband in the UK via wifi using a Sky router. The effect is that while I can actually access the internet (I can send and receive emails using Outlook and can connect to other machines using TeamViewer) I cannot access any web site (Google, BBC etc). There is no specific error message, merely that the access request timed out and a suggestion that it may be to do with proxy. I have tried the following:

1. Other systems (W10 and ios) can access web sites using the same Sky router (therefore probably not a router problem)
2. I have sent and received emails using Outlook, so the broadband connection is working (probably not a Sky problem)
3. I have tried two different browsers (Firefox and Edge), no connection (not a browser problem)
4. I am using Windows Defender and have:
   1. Made sure that Firefox is in the list of allowed systems in its Firewall, no connection after a reboot
   2. Turned off the Firewall and tried again - no connection

My next step will be to re-install Windows, but has anyone got any other suggestions? Could it be some sort of virus (I have carried out a complete virus check using Defender) So - any suggestions?

 

laptop battery wont charge after latest update

1. Shutdown your laptop.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Connect the AC power adapter to your laptop.

4. Power on the laptop

5. Open the Device Manager by typing Devmgmt.msc into Start Menu or from Control Panel.

6. Under the Batteries category, right-click all of the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery listings, and select Uninstall (it’s okay if you only have 1).

7. Shutdown the laptop.

8. Insert the battery.

9. Power on the laptop.

If above suggestions wont resolve the battery charge issue then follow below steps.




Step 2

1. Shutdown the laptop.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Start the laptop with only AC adapter connected to laptop.

4. When you login to Windows OS connect the battery while Windows OS working.

 

Page wont load.

Hi guys. I have a problem that is driving me nuts, just can't seem to make sense of it. I have one, very important web page that i must use daily, and wouldn't you know it, it is the only web page that wont load!!! The site is Antpool, at address ANTPOOL - 先进的比特币矿池 | ANTPOOL It is the site i use to monitor my mining rigs, so it is important that i have total access to it, but it just wont load, every time i get the same error message "This site can’t be reached-The connection was reset-ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. This happens more or less instantaneously when i try to load the page? I have cleared cookies/history/DNS cache etc, tried different browsers, as well as make an exception in my Avast anti-virus, but it will not load ( I am able to use the official app on my phone, and that seems to connect to Antpool just fine? ) The other annoying point about this is, if i re-boot my tower, it will allow me to load the page and log-in to Antpool no problem, but only the once, if i log-out and try to log back in, then i get the same error message again? If anybody has any suggestions, they would be gratefully received, all the best,
