    Brand new LG Gram reboots repeatedly


    I have a brand new LG Gram 17 that I upgraded to Windows 11 Pro. Unfortunately it seems to have a mini-reboot while I am working most days. Suddenly things I am working on have closed, apps have closed, tabs have disappeared from my Chrome browsing session, and the wallpaper disappears, as if the machine has restarted, though it doesn't actually go to the login screen or anything.The reliability monitor report is above. I am a competent day-to-day user but not a techie so any help explained in fairly simple terms would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

    Brand new LG 14 GRAM laptop keeps having to reboot

    HI,

    I have a new LG Gram laptop that I upgraded to Windows 11 PRO - Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621.

    It continues to have an intermittent issue and reboots itself. Checking Windows Reliability Monitor, reliability is sitting between 1 and 3 currently.

    it is producing minidumps and perhaps there's some issue with hardware or bios or?? How do I provide the minidumps to get a better understanding of what's wrong with this laptop? It does list a Hardware error - see screenshot below.

    LG Gram Windows 11 Hello doesn't recognize?

    Windows Hello Face requires an infrared camera, which 90% of brand new laptops DON'T have. So it is perfectly normal that your brand new laptop doesn't have windows hello face.

    LG Gram has "proximity" lock, when the camera doesn't see you in front of the laptop, it will lock the computer out. Watch the video inside this webpage.

    Battery not charging on LG Gram

    I have a 9 month old LG Gram 16T90P-K laptop . It has worked great the whole time. Now suddenly, it won't charge. I've tried new cords, different outlets, made sure I was using the right USB socket, etc. Tried rebooting. Tried the suggestion on this forum to do the Control Panel Troubleshooter. The windows icon says plugged in 0% available. So it is not charging. I don't think it is the battery, must be a windows thing. Please help!
