Windows 10: Brand new PC Crashes whilst playing XPlane. Blue Screen of death!

Recently configured a brand new PC for Xplane. Consistently the system crashes every time I play the simulator. The last crash I got the blue screen of death and recorded the Windows Log error code.


The Computer has rebooted from a bug check. The bug check was: 0x00000124 0x0000000000000000, 0xffffce8b17f6a028, 0x00000000b2000000, 0x0000000000030005. A dump was saved in: C:\windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 19dd7852-dcc9-4c97-bac6-a8d0e3feead9.


Previously within the Log I have also had a Critical log. "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.


Any help would be appreciated.

I assume from the title of your post Crash/Blue Screen that the PC has crashed and produced a *BSOD=[Blue Screen Of Death] =Blue Screen; and that the PC recovered from this; if and when you see the Blue Screen write the Stop Code down; recover the PC or use one that is working to access the net and look up the Stop Code.

nb: You may be able to view this with a [*BlueScreenView] application, google for this.

BlueScreenView scans all your minidump files created during 'blue screen
of death' crashes, and displays the information about all crashes in one
table. For each crash, BlueScreenView displays the minidump filename, the
date/time of the crash, the basic crash information displayed in the blue
screen (Bug Check Code and 4 parameters), and the details of the driver
or module that possibly caused the crash (filename, product name, file
description, and file version).
For each crash displayed in the upper pane, you can view the details of
the device drivers loaded during the crash in the lower pane.
BlueScreenView also mark the drivers that their addresses found in the
crash stack, so you can easily locate the suspected drivers that possibly
caused the crash.

2. What is the exact error code/message you receive regarding the Blue Screen of death?

The Operating System is designed to automatically receive new updates by default. We recommend not to stop the updates, since the updates consists various security patches and latest driver updates which helps to keep the computer safe and secure. Windows
Updates will eventually need to be installed and downloaded, regardless of your update settings. However, you may temporarily pause updates from being downloaded and installed.
