Windows 10: Brand new windows 11 computer: The System Administrator Has Set Policies to Prevent This...

I am trying to install ciscoAnnyconnect on my own private new laptop that I just bought.I've got the execution file as an .msi from my school's IT departments tutorial on installation. But, when I try to run, I get the "The System Administrator Has Set Policies to Prevent This Installation" error.I've ran it as Administrator, disabled Norton anti virus and ran it as Administrator, the Local Security Policy for software restrictions is empty.I am running Windows 11 Pro.Any help would be highly appreciated.

When the message "The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation" displays, a particular
Local Security Policy setting may be preventing you from running installations involving MSI files.

Try the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1:

Run the software setup file as an administrator and check if it helps.

a. Right click on the setup file of the software that you are trying to install.

b. Select “Run as administrator”.

Step 2:

a. Click Start, type "Local Security Policy" (without quotes) and press enter.

b. Click on Software Restriction Policies.

c. In the right pane, double click on the "enforcement".

d. Select “All users except local administrators”.

e. Click Ok and restart the computer and check if the issue is fixed.
