    There is a Braswell-J3160 machine with RS3 systems, after upgrade to Win10 RS5 (1809). Have installed Intel VGA driver 20.19.15.5063 (2018/10/29), 20.19.15.4703 (2017/7/28), 20.19.15.4320 (2016/6/3), Screen flicker will occur (obviously when you log in to Windows, flicker when you turn off the Edge page window) With Microsoft Inbox Driver, there will be no flicker. After that, we reinstalled the RS5 purified system and installed the graphics card driver separately. There will still be screen flicker, which will return to normal after uninstalling the driver. That is to say, under RS5 system, Braswell-J3160's machine appears the phenomenon of screen flickering after installing Intel's video card driver in batches.     I'm guessing you are asking about the MS development labels. They are code words MS uses to generate confusion.

    RS4 is pretty much locked down for new features. RS5 is still early in development, so any new features in it are still vaporware (promised but not yet ready for the real world, so they could evaporate like vapor at any time).

    RS4 = RedStone 4, which is the next major release of Windows, some time in April this year, ie this month.

    I haven't made any changes on my device. This screen flickering is only happening in Safe Mode.
