Windows 10: Brief audio buzzing in all media on Windows 10

Lately, on all media, my computer will emit a brief 1 to 2 second buzzing sound that will freeze video. I have updated Realtek drivers and everything else I can find to do and nothing works. I see posts where people are saying this is a bug between Microsoft and Realtek. I have installed the latest Windows 10 updates. Can anyone let me know what is going on and if I am wasting my time trying to solve the problem? Thank you.

Buzzing Sound in Background of Audio

Hello,

When my headphones are plugged into my laptop, there is a buzzing sound in the background of the audio. I know it’s not a problem with the headphones, because I tested it with my iPad and it worked perfectly. How do I stop this buzzing sound? Any suggestions
welcome.

 

Windows 10 very brief audio stutter/buzzing/glitching everywhere

I have spent at least 20 hours trying to solve the same problem on my Dell e4200 laptop, scouring the web, trying different possible solutions with great anxiety. Spectrum's suggestion on the page linked below (comment #6) - switching from RAID to
AHCI - solved the problem.

I had found high latency issues with Storport.sys. They now have dropped to below 1 millisecond while playing music on MediaMonkey and RadioParadise.com.

I continue to have high latency with USBport.sys but probably won't wrestle with that unless drop-outs and buzzing return.
