    Brightness Action Keys Fn+F3 and Fn+F4 stopped working since recent Windows update HP...


    I recently updated my Windows 10 64-Bit 22H2. The update also updated my BIOS. Ever since this update, Fn+F3 and Fn+F4 have stopped functioning as my brightness action key shortcuts that reduce/increase my screen brightness. I have tried the following to no avail:Updated all my device drivers even the HP Hotkey Support - UWPUpgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11.However, the problem remains unresolved. When I was on Windows 10, every time I pressed Fn+F3 or Fn+F4, it would show me an empty popup titled "HP Hotkey Support" with an OK button. On Windows 11, it

    Change what Fn + f3 and Fn + f4 do

    At the first time I use my new laptop ( ASUS A455LA, Win. 10), the Fn+f3 and Fn+f4 combination is empty (no command to do). One day, I press Fn+f3 and the computer ask me what kind of command to do, I choose to open Google Chrome.
    The problem is, I accidentally choose the same thing to do with fn+f4 (also to open Google Chrome) and I want to change it like Fn+f4 = open Windows Media Player. Is it possible to do? How?

    Some fn+fkey (f3,f4, etc.) don't work

    Hello. Ever since I changed to Windows 10, I lost the ability to use some fn shortcuts. I can no longer use fn+f3, f4, f9 and I also can't use the NVidia key, nor the Steam key. I have an Asus ROG G751jy gaming laptop.

    fn+f3 = dim keyboard backlight

    fn+f4 = brighten keyboard backlight

    fn+f9 = toggle touchpad

    i have an HP and the option is in the BIOS ..
    ie. i use FN + F6/F7/F8 for volume control..
    - if i don't enable it in the BIOS.. i don't have to include FN combination..

    id search in the BIOS.
