  1. Brightness automatically set to 0 when display orientation changed

I have a Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5 laptop.Recently, whenever i change the display orientation Either automatically when i flipped the device, or manually from control panel, the display's brightness would set to 0. It wasn't much problem in laptop mode since i can increase the brightness using the keyboard, but render the table mode useless since i have no way to increase the brightness.Thank you

    :)

  3. Brightness keeps changing automatically. Adaptive brightness option is not there in the display options

My display brightness keeps changing every time i switch between different apps. I've been having this issue for a long time.

I'm using HP Omen Laptop. Windows 10.

I saw another thread with the same issue but was unable to reply in it.

I followed the steps that said the following:

*As an initial recommendation, I suggest you to follow the below steps to disable the adaptive or auto brightness for the selected power plan (if you already have a Power Plan created in Windows)

    • Open Control Panel and click on Power Options.
    • Open your active power plan, you’ll see Change plan settings option. Click Change plan settings next to your current power plan to open Edit Plan Settings window.
    • Click Change advanced power settings option. This will open Power Options dialog.
    • Expand Display and then expand Enable adaptive brightness. Change it to Off*

But the problem i the option "Enable adaptive brightness" is not even there.

    Display Brightness Automatically Changing.

Brightness, etc changing, can be just the display. You need to adjust the display itself to those settings that give you the best display when displaying different media.

Just going back and forth stating that it must be only the computer, display adapter or drivers, means zip, zero. If you want to test it out, plug the computer into another display and run the dame media on that other display Image display changes in brightness, contrast, etc, it could be the computer if the display does not change with another device connected to it. Display changes with different devices connected, must be the display.
