Windows 10: brightness bar not appearing on new PC

I just bought a new PC. And its got windows 10 as usual. I'm setting it up but the brightness bar is not showing. It's completely absent. Does anybody know how to repair this. My eyes are very sensitive to light. Thx in advance.

In addition to the troubleshooting step that you have already done, we suggest that you try disabling the adaptive brightness from your PC. Follow the steps below and see if it resolves the issue:

• From the Search bar, type Power Options.
• Click Power Options from the result. Under Preferred plans, click
  Change plan settings.
• Click Change advanced power settings and select Enable adaptive brightness to turn it
  ON or OFF.

After saving the changes, restart your PC and check if issue still occurs.

Brightness Control not working in Windows 10

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.

New blue bar has appeared in Firefox

I'm on Firefox Quantum 65.0 (64-bit), and there must have been an update because whenever I try to use the url box, an annoying bright blue bar appears.
I've unchecked almost everything in Options and set a ton of stuff to false in about:config - but the dazzling bar is still there.
