Windows 10: Brightness is broken, help!

I was trying to change brightness, but couldn't. I decided to troubleshoot with a restart and that didn't help. I have tried many things, like changing it in powershell, but it still wouldn't change. Have tried almost everything at this point. Help! Along with that, when I went in to roblox it was SUPER LAGGY. It usually doesn't 4un the best and I have it on the lowest graphics settings, but the lag was unbearable.

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.

• Were you able to see any error message/ error code with this issue?
• Have you tried to install all the pending updates for drivers and Windows Updates on your device?

This issue might have happened due to corrupted/ outdated drivers.
