    Brightness issues due to creators update


    Okay so I have made a topic on this in the graphics card forum but now I think this needs to be broaden, so every time I exit a game full screen my brightness goes up a lot and usually I have to go to Nvidia Control Panel and have to put it back to my settings and it usually fixes it, problem is it happens almost every time I go into a full screen game, border less windowed however is okay. Anyone have any possible tips for this and its not just me but Nvidia forums have reported this too.

    Creators Update broke my brightness settings??

    I have exactly the same issue, it is too bright and is painful on my eyes. I'm on a 2012 mbp, bootcamp. updated everything and for record the key backlight brightness adjustment works, as does all the other keyboard shortcut things. Up to date drivers and
    all. Only thing that's gone bad is the screen brightness being stuck on 100%. Try having to use a laptop in a dark room that's stuck on 100% brightness. Its been like this for weeks, fix it already.

    Yes, tried to change the brightness on the brightness thing in the notifications thingo, it changes the number and the brightness bar goes up and goes up and down using the brightness shortcut. Its a windows bug introduced with the creators update. I also
    know of another laptop experiencing the same thing.

    See, that's not the only thing. Microsoft, your creators update display bug has been killing my battery life like no tomorrow since this update, causing me to be late on a deadline because of a dead battery dying because I cannot turn the screen down to
    save brightness on more than one occasion.
