Windows 10: brightness problem

hello. i really need help. my laptop's brightness doesn't change. the brightness slider at the notification window doesn't work. the brightness slider on settings doesn't seem to work either. my eyes are hurting so much. i searched the internet and saw that it has something to do with an adapter or driver? but i'm not familiar with those things. i'm very thankful if anyone could help me. btw my laptop is a dell vostro i believe it's a windows 10 pro?

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.

To manually adjust the screen brightness, we suggest following these troubleshooting steps:
