Windows 10: Brightness stuck at either 100% or 0% on Lenovo gen 3 windows 10 how to fix.

I've had this laptop for just a few months, and it's been doing fine, but recently my screen has been defaulted to be at 100% brightness, but when I try to click f11 to turn down the brightness, the screen automatically goes to the lowest setting. I then click f12 to turn the brightness back up, and it immediately goes to 100%.The brightness bar does not appear at all, and I cannot change this in settings. I have tried restarting with no results, then I go to device manager and update driver, this changes nothing but add the little bar in the top left corner of my screen whenever I click F12,

has been posted about before. I am having the same issue, but have noticed that my brightness is stuck at 100% or 0%. It seems to stay wherever it was set when it rebooted. I am about to see if it stays at 50%

I have tried:

• reinstalling (deleting the driver files) the video driver.
• Setting the brightness to 0 & rebooting

 

Brightness stuck at 0%

so the new windows update came out and they remove the brightness changing button when u click on the battery icon on the bottom right cornor and the issue is when my laptop sleeps and i turn it back on the brightness stucks at 0, i went to the settings
and changed it to 100 and the screen is still dark as 0 so i dont know what happend and my friend also had this problem windows pls fix this it is very annoying

My pc (Lenovo) was very slow for week espicially today, I decided to restart it and then start fixing then it stuck at this stage:

It took 12 hours and I am still waiting.
