Windows 10: Bring back the old Microsoft Paint

Dear Microsoft,I've used MS Paint with one layer & a white background for over 30 years. It was simple & it worked magnificently.I used Paint to perform many functions, from creating birthday cards to developing ideas for new software. The new features are overkill & disruptive to getting things done. I spend more time filling in blank spaces left by transparency than I do creating the ideas.Microsoft, if you're not willing to remove the new features - please consider allowing us to turn them off or install the old version.Here are some suggestions.1. Add a toggle switch in the top

Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.

Is there a fill in paint can in Fresh paint feature like in the Old Paint?

There isn't in the Fresh Paint app -- it's really designed to be like a true canvass and painted with brushes/pencils and such.

If you want something like the old Paint, you have several options:

• Use the new
  Paint 3D app that Microsoft created. It's like the old Paint, but has 3D capabilities too.
• Use the old Paint. It's the same old Paint as always, just included for anyone that still wants to use it.
• Find something else entirely in the Windows app store.
