    Your tpg settings are out of date

    I am the only user on this new computer. The ISP is TPG. It is a POP3 account I have TPG email in MAIL in Windows 10 on my old computer, no problem. I have exactly the same settings.

    After fiddling, I find I can now send from my TPG account on MAIL on my new computer, but still have the error message when I try to receive.

    TPG have worked on it,

    HP have worked on it .

    I have tried resetting date and time etc. as suggested by various help sites.

    The hard disk had to be reformatted after an HP helpline trashed it when trying to solve the problem.

    No-one seems to know the answer.

    For us to better assist you, kindly provide us with the following information:

    • Are you using a third party domain with your Outlook account?
    • Are you able to set up your TPG email in another Windows 10 computer before?

    Local account installation question


    I'm fairly certain that Skip this step was available in 10.0.130 - the workaround in Step 20 (back button) is no longer required.

    The currently known, as of 10.0.130, ways to create a Local account sign-in are
    • Skip this step at the MS account creation phase
    • No Internet connection during the install
    • static IP (post# 2 by Fragment) - New (to me anyway)
