Windows 10: Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth is not working properly

I'm on device and printers, and I got a troubleshoot of WINDOWS7-PC. I right-clicked and click the "Troubleshoot", then it got detected. I clicked "Next", then the message shows me "Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth is not working properly". Any help?Thanks-Sajad Sadiq

Thanks for your reply. Following your advice, I uninstalled the current driver first in the device manager tab driver.

Unfortunately, now the Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth is completely gone in the device manager. The driver I downloaded from HP won't run (says: not suitable for your Windows version).

Compatibility test says same. Reinstalling the driver that was in first place on the pc and worked, doesn't allow to be re-installed either - same compatibility issue, though I try to reinstal in compatibility mode.

I am afraid now I have to go for external bluetooth device. Or do you have any other suggestions to get the Broadcom 2070 back in the device list and get it work?

Bluetooth not working in Windows 10

Prior to updating to Windows 10 (From 7), my Bluetooth device (Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth) worked correctly without issue. It was typical to leave the adapter in an off state. During upgrade process the (integrated) Bluetooth device was disabled and turned off.

After upgrading to Windows 10, the device was not listed in the "Device Manager" at all. Many different attempts failed including re-enabling the Bluetooth (Windows) services, trying to install old driver (Where Windows 10 refused due to incompatibility), trying Broadcom's Bluetooth SDK to detect the device and failed 100% in finding a way to get bluetooth to work using Windows 10.

What did work was loaded a live USB version of Ubuntu (Linux) and simply turned on the device and rebooted back to Window 10. The Bluetooth device was detected immediately, working and found in the Device manager.

To make sure I am not doing the wrong things, should I delete the current (not properly working) driver associated with the Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth first?

How could I find the installment files for re-installing in compatibility mode? Would they still be somewhere on pc, any suggestion where? (I have not installed the current one, it came installed with my notebook).
