Windows 10: Broadcom driver error after windows update

Hi, Windows updated on my daughters Asus laptop, yesterday. Now I have No WiFi option in my network settings. I do not have an ethernet port on my laptop. I have copied updated broadcom driver 2015 via a USB plugin from another laptop and run set up, but that has not achieved anything. Now my other daughters laptop is trying to restart to install a Windows update, I'm assuming the same one! How can I get WiFi back onto the laptop??

Broadcom Driver help, PLEASE?

I'm using these drivers for my Compaq notebook which is also using Broadcom WLAN card (the guy keeps the link constantly updated). It seems that Broadcom is offering drivers for all their devices in single package.
Although your model is not specifically listed i'd still give it a try.

BSOD related to broadcom driver

Hi, i've been consistently getting BSODs, running a whocrashed analysis yielded the following:

Who has seen this vista update error

When you go to Windows vista update and it tell you to update a driver that you have already updated. Then it says failed to update and gives you the error code that tell you that you already have a never version than that. WTF? Why in the world would it be trying to updated something with an older driver. Well the only way to get it out of your windows update list is to go uninstall what ever that driver is then run the update and install it. Then run the newer drivers again.

Well I still can't get the Nivida Network Bridge to disappear out of the list. I uninstall the one in device manager and go to the update and before it's even done with that. Vista is automatically installing a newer version than is in the Vista update list.......
