Windows 10: Broken Jump List - Movies and TV App

Here is goes - I am not embarrassed....I have a recent file on a Jump List and it will not go away.



Was it worth it? She's 3X AVN POY - YES

I right click on it and "Remove from this list" but it does not take. It sticks there for all to see.

This seems to be the only app that is broken. If i access other apps and their jump lists, the remove option works just fine.

I have tried the "Reset" application - no changes

I have tried Uninstalling the application - it brings back the same list.

I have been out in App Data - Roaming - Microsoft - Windows - Recent Items - I have cleared the item from here, but I know this is not the area because even after I delete the contents, all my other Jump Lists are just fine.

I have been out to the %APP Data super hidden folder and located "Automatic Destinations", which I read is where these lists may be stored. The files are too cryptic and I do not want to delete anything I shouldnt.



So who can help me here?

Movies & TV app not working properly.

Hi,

I suggest you to un-install and re-install Movies & TV App and check. Follow the steps:

• Press Windows Key.
• Type Windows Powershell.
• Right click on it and select Run as administrator.
• Type in the following command to un-install Movies & TV App.

get-appxpackage *Microsoft.ZuneVideo* | remove-appxpackage

Note: The Movies & TV App can be reinstalled using the Store App or by following the link mentioned below. You will need to exit the Store app if it is already open before reinstalling the app.

Movies and TV app Problem

These 2 steps resolved my disappearing Movies & TV tile problem. Before using this fix, tapping on the Movies & TV app tile would cause it to vanish without loading the program. Thanks for your help.
