Discus and support Broken Start Settings in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; Hello.So, I had fullscreen start for a while now.     Hello.So, I had fullscreen start for a while now. But now that I want to get rid of the dimming of the wallpaper to be gone, it won't really let me explained how and why in the next paragraph. I know I could set to light mode instead to avoid this issue but it would be applied to all my programs by default and it hurts my eyes. So I knew another solution existed, to revert to normal app tiles and have start be miniature. And I tried to turn off fullscreen start through settings, but it is broken! I have the fullscreen start settings off as belowBut fullscreen start is still on?By the way I

    Start Menu List - Settings

    You need to go one step further...

    Settings >Personalization > Start, then click as shown by the RED square...

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Tried safe mode (no internet) and get this when going to app settings.

    Try resetting the settings app. In the start list find Settings and right click - More - App settings - reset.
