Windows 10: Brother HL-2170W Laser printer won't print on Win 10

I have a Brother HL-2170W Laser printer and a new Windows 10 installation. I downloaded the appropriate Brother installation page and installed the printer. It worked fine,. Later I noticed that I had two printer installations, HL-2170W and HL-2170W Copy 1. I removed the Copy 1 and haven't been able to print since. No error message, the job just sits in the printer que. I have a hardwire connection on LPT1.

I work from home and split time between my HP Pavilion P6716 f-b desktop and my Lenovo Edge 15 laptop.

Both are wirelessly connected to an HP Photosmart 7520 All-in-one color inkjet printer

I also have a Brother HL-L2320D laser printer connected ONLY to the HP Pavilion through a USB cable.

I was able to print wirelessly on the Brother printer from my Lenovo laptop through my Verizon / Actiontec wireless router.

However after downloading Windows 10 it no longer works.

How can start printing wirelessly on the Brother laser printer from my Lenovo laptop again?

Brother Laser printer does not work on PC updated from Windows 7.1 to Windows 10

I have two PCs that I updated to Windows 10. One was running Windows 8, the other Windows 7 Home Premium. I have two Brother Laser printers; model HL-2170W and HL-L:2380DW. The situation that I have is the following:

1) The PC updated from Windows 8, can print to the both the Brother laser printers with no problem. This is what the printer properties look like:



2) The PC that I updated from Windows 7 is not able to print. When adding in the printers, the add operation sometimes completes and when I try to print a test page an error message appears about the Print Queue is full. I have tried deleting the printers,
the drivers, and even used regedit with no success. For the HL-L2380DW, this PC will allow me to initiated a scan operation but not a print operation. The printer troubleshooter does not fix any issue. I have also updated the FW on the laser printer as
well. Any ideas?

 

Can't Access networked Brother Laser printer- To print or use Web I/f

Not all Printer drivers are included in the installation media. Even mine (Brother HL-4040CN), you would need to manually add it to the list:

1. Control Panel->Devices and Printers->Add a Printer
2. Follow the steps to set up a network printer. At one point, Windows will search for available printer, click on "The printer that I want isn't listed"
3. Click on "Windows Updates". Windows will start downloading a complete list of Printers.
4. Select your printer name & model then install.

EDIT: Just tried to install as a USB printer for MFC-7820N since I don't have this printer to set up as a network printer. The result as shown in the list after clicking on "Windows Update":
